Tanya Sprunks
Veterinary Physiotherapist at T.E.S. Veterinary Physiotherapy
Tanya Sprunks is a Veterinary Physiotherapist specialising in the management of canine osteoarthritis. She completed a PgDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy five years ago and then went on to achieve a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Tanya has written a paper titled “Pulsed Shortwave Electromagnetic Field Therapy Increases Quality of Life in Canines with Symptoms of Osteoarthritis” which is currently under review to be published. She is the only UK distributor of Recovery RX Veterinary (Recovery RX provides advanced long-lasting pain relief for pets, using Electromagnetic Pulse Therapy) and runs several successful clinics across Devon practicing Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Before her life as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Tanya was a senior police officer in the Metropolitan Police, retiring several years ago. Tanya uses her experience, passion and love of animals to educate owners on how to identify the signs of pain and discomfort in their dogs as well as arming them with the tools to rehabilitate them into a more comfortable life.
Other personal achievements include being awarded two Commendations for saving lives; gaining a Master’s in Public Administration and becoming an advisor for CAM.
Her loves are making animals feel better, her two dogs (Scout and Sage) and her horse, Ranger.
