Please read below the terms and conditions of joining the Canine Arthritis Management Member Zone.
Cooling-off and Cancellation Rights
Initial sign-up
-
New members have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period from the date the contract is first entered into, in accordance with UK consumer law.
-
If a member cancels within this period, a refund may be issued subject to any use of the digital content (see “Access to Digital Content” below).
Renewals and Cooling-off Rights
Following an automatic renewal of an annual subscription, members have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period, during which they may cancel their renewed subscription.
This cooling-off period is a right to cancel, not an automatic right to a full refund.
Where a member cancels within the renewal cooling-off period:
-
CAM will comply with its statutory obligations; however
-
Any refund due will be adjusted to reflect the digital content already supplied.
The CAM Member Zone provides immediate access to digital content upon renewal, including downloadable resources, videos, tools, and educational materials.
By accessing, streaming, or downloading any content during the cooling-off period, the member acknowledges and agrees that:
-
The value of the digital content supplied may equal or exceed the subscription fee, and
-
As a result, no refund may be payable, even where cancellation occurs within the cooling-off period.
Members will receive a clear renewal notice in advance of renewal, which will include:
-
The renewal date and price
-
Information about the right to cancel
-
Clear instructions on how and when cancellation must be exercised
Access to Digital Content and Refunds*
-
The CAM Member Zone provides immediate access to digital content, including downloadable resources, videos, and educational materials.
-
By accessing the platform or downloading content, members acknowledge that:
-
Digital content is supplied immediately upon payment, and
-
Any refund entitlement may be reduced or excluded to reflect the value of content already accessed or downloaded.
-
Where a cancellation right applies:
-
CAM may deduct a proportionate amount to reflect:
-
Access to members-only resources
-
Downloads obtained
-
Use of educational materials or tools
-
-
In some cases, this may result in no refund being due, where substantial access has already been provided.
This approach is permitted under UK consumer law for digital content supplied during a cooling-off period.
Refund Policy
-
Except where required by law, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
Any refund issued will reflect:
-
The timing of the cancellation request
-
The extent of access to digital content
-
Applicable statutory requirements at the time
-
CAM may, at its discretion, offer a short goodwill period following payment; this does not affect statutory rights.
Changes to Pricing or Renewal Terms
Members will be given at least 30 days’ notice in writing of any changes, including:
-
Any increase in the membership fee
-
Any change to the automatic renewal date
Notification will be sent to the email address linked to the member’s account.
Termination or Suspension of Membership
Canine Arthritis Management reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if a member:
-
Commits a serious breach of these Terms
-
Provides false or misleading information
-
Behaves in an abusive or inappropriate manner towards CAM staff or other members
-
Uses CAM content for unauthorised commercial purposes
-
Shares login details or allows unauthorised access
Where termination occurs for these reasons, CAM reserves the right to retain any fees paid to cover access and administration costs.
If a member is removed from a CAM-managed social media community for breach of rules, CAM may also terminate their paid membership.
Changes to Services
-
CAM may vary, update, add, or remove content or services within the Member Zone from time to time.
-
CAM may modify availability or access arrangements where reasonably necessary.
